Three seminarians earned degrees

Congratulations to Archdiocese of Mobile seminarians Deacon Thomas LaPointe, Edward Charnock and Andrew Thompson, who recently received degrees from their respective seminaries.
Deacon LaPointe, who is to be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, June 3, received his Master of Divinity degree from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in Indiana during a commencement ceremony May 13. In addition he received a Baccalaureate Degree of Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum of Saint Anselmo Pontifical University in Rome.
Charnock and Thompson were two of 30 students to receive Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and the Liberal Arts during the 132nd Baccalaureate May 12 from St. Joseph Seminary College in Louisiana. In addition, Charnock was one of four students to graduate Magna Cum Laude.
