Congratulations to St. Pius X eighth-grader Riannon Heinl, who won the 57th annual Mobile/Baldwin Catholic Schools Spelling Bee on Jan. 27 at St. Pius X Parish’s Sarto Center.
Riannon correctly spelled “executive” in the championship round to win the title and earn a spot in the state finals March 21 in Birmingham.
Riannon was one of 11 spellers from Mobile and Baldwin Catholic schools who qualified for this year’s bee. Congratulations to all of them!
