CSS Disability Ministry offering activities

March 7, 2023Intellectually or physically disabled adults in Mobile and Baldwin counties are invited to participate in Catholic Social Services’ Disability Ministries and Services.
Activities to improve independent life skills, as well as group events for socialization, are major parts of this vibrant ministry. Recent group activities included trips to the Environmental Studies Center and Five Rivers Delta Center, attending Mass at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, horse riding, going to the movies, and an arts and crafts session.
Individual activities such as assistance with shopping, transportation, advocacy, cooking, and locating community resources are essential components of the ministry.
