86th annual ACCW convention to take place Oct. 2-4 in Mobile

The 86th annual ACCW Convention is Oct. 2-4 at the Holiday Inn in downtown Mobile and this year's theme will be "The Rosary is Our Spiritual Weapon for Peace."
A trio of accomplished speakers will be featured, including Rev. Msgr. Michael Farmer, Catholic performer Kitty Cleveland and state rep Adline Clarke of the 97th legislative district.
Cleveland will be the featured luncheon speaker on Oct. 3. A self-described "lay Catholic evangelist," she encourages audiences through music, storytelling and teaching from the great Catholic spiritual writers and her own life experiences.
Msgr. Farmer will be the banquet speaker. He is the former vicar general of the Archdiocese of Mobile and is current pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Mobile.
Rep. Clarke is the convention's brunch speaker. She has represented the 97th District since 2013.
