Position: Executive Director of Catholic Education/Superintendent
Reports to: Archbishop FSLA Status: Exempt
Major Objective: The Executive Director of Education works directly with the Archbishop and other archdiocesan executives in the planning and supporting of policies and regulations, vision and leadership in the Archdiocese. The Director will be responsible for the ongoing development and support of ministries within the Department of Catholic Education: Office for Evangelization and Family Life, Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and the Office of Catholic Schools. The Director also serves as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese. As Superintendent, the Executive Director leads the Catholic Schools Office in providing leadership, support and oversight of the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese.

Maritime Ministry is in need of a part time driver. Candidate must have a current driver’s license, insurance and a good driving record. Candidate must successfully complete mandatory Archdiocese Child Protection training and background check. Job primarily consists of driving seafarers between their ships and shopping destinations. Candidate must be available Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday for about 15-20 hours per weeks. Hours are flexible and will vary depending on need. Major Objective: Provide non-medical supportive care for the elderly within a home/institutional setting
Position Reports To: Program Manager
Position is full-time; 35 hours per week; non-exempt
Qualifications: Preferred candidate will have Bachelor degree in Social Work, or related degree in social services field. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have 1-3 years of case management experience with a working knowledge of government and community programs/benefits for the elderly. Candidate must be able to work with staff, volunteers, and outside individuals and groups in a manner that is reflective of the Christian philosophy of Catholic Social Services. Must have a valid Alabama Driver’s license and use of personal insured vehicle. Candidate must successfully complete Archdiocesan Child Protection Training and background check.
