Required Annual Parish Financial Reporting to Parishioners

The following figures are required to be reported annually to parishioners:

(Note:  The numbers in parentheses are the lines on the Annual Financial Report of Parish Form that is submitted each year to the Archdiocese.)

• Sunday and Holy Day Ordinary Collections (011)
• Capital Campaign Collections (036)
• Total Parish Receipts (bottom of page 1, Annual Financial Report)
• Total Parish Expenses (middle of page 3, right side, Annual Financial Report)
• Total Parish Debt (bottom of page 3, right side, Annual Financial Report)
• Total Parish Cash and Investments (050) – This item should include an explanation of the planned use of any large amounts of cash and investments

The figures listed above are the minimum that must be reported.  A more detailed report could also be presented, following the categories of the Annual Financial Report or the categories used in the parish financial records.
