Congratulations to Caroline Picard – now Sister Caroline – who entered into the novitiate with the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother on July 16 in Santander, Spain.

The past several days have brought about a number of significant events for our country and Church. Allow me to share a few thoughts about two of these events.

Where do you see stewardship in action? In my position, I am blessed to witness the amazing results of stewardship in action every day. The Archdiocese of Mobile is filled with countless examples of faithful stewards answering God’s call to give back the gifts of time, talent and treasure entrusted to us by our generous Creator.

If we don’t know our faith and the “whys” of our faith then we are reduced to feelings and we lose our intellectual heritage. This matters because God wants to have a real and vibrant relationship with each of us.
