March for Life Mobile officials hope 6,000 people will come to downtown Mobile on Jan. 24 to send a pro-life message. According to organizers, 6,000 babies are aborted in Alabama each year. Because of that number, this year’s theme to March for Life Mobile is “Standing for the 6,000.”

January Providence Hospital was the first hospital in Mobile to participate in the Donate Life program, which helps raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. Todd Kennedy, CEO and President, hand-wrote a note that was placed on the Donate Life Rose Parade Float in Pasadena, Calif.
